Historic Architecture

This is one of my favorite places in New York City -  The Merchants House Museum in Greenwich Village.
Here is how they describe the property on their website:
“The cultural and architectural importance of the Merchant’s House is undisputed.  Built in 1832 and occupied by a merchant family for nearly 100 years, the House today is New York City’s only family home to have survived virtually intact, inside and out, from the 19th century. The Merchant’s House is a truly unique window through which to view the past.”

Everybody who loves New York City architecture and New York City history should stop by for one of their self-guided tours.
Merchants House Museum is simply amazing.
